It’s overwhelming. MAGA isn’t just another point of view—it’s an infection, spreading through media, churches, group chats, and just about everywhere else. What scares me most isn’t just the movement itself—it’s the people I grew up with. People I’ve shared meals and memories with. People who continue to support MAGA candidates—not out of genuine belief, but simply to avoid confrontation or shame.
Let me be clear: that is not okay. All MAGA candidates are brainwashed or just plain stupid. The MAGA cult represents hate, bigotry, and cruelty. And this is not the time for passive complicity. Supporting anti-vaxxers and book bans is a vote to endanger our children and silence our voices. Empowering candidates who aim to strip away rights, erase history, and impose Christian nationalism isn’t politics—it’s complicity.
